IN KANO, APC WILL BE HISTORY

Said Datti Assalafy

Several party stakeholders met with the Kano State government, which was led by Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, in response to the crisis inside the All Progressives Congress (APC).

The names of the party nominees for the Kano state administration were read out by Ganduje, and the appointments will be verified the next day, Saturday, assuming everything goes according to plan.

During a meeting yesterday, Ganduje announced that he had broken the oath of office of Malam Ibrahim Shekarau (Sardaunan Kano), a former governor of Kano State and senator representing Kano Central. Ganduje said:

To be quite honest, Governor Ganduje has made a huge error by listening to the bad individuals in his own body to the point that he believes he has the ability to control Malam Ibrahim Shekarau's actions and decisions.

Malam Ibrahim Shekarau is the most well-liked politician in Kano State, second only to Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso, and Datti Assalafiy is flying to the state to express her gratitude to Governor Ganduje on Malam Ibrahim Shekarau's behalf.

And I am convinced that Governor Ganduje will not seek re-election in 2019 as a result of Malam Ibrahim Shekarau's intervention. Wherever Malam Ibrahim Shekarau goes, we will accompany him, and we will support him in whatever political party he chooses.

Malam Ibrahim Shekarau deserves to be commended.
