From Tukur Sani Kwasara
The Federal High Court in Abuja has adjourned the trial of Nnamdi Kanu to January 19 and 20, 2022. The Nigerian government has indicted Kanu on charges of inciting sedition and terrorism in his bid to establish Biafra in the southeast.
However, his lawyers walked out of court in anger before the arrival of Justice Binta Nyako.
During the court hearing, Nnamdi Kanu told the judge that DSS security officers had barred his lawyer from the United States from entering the court.
Justice Binta Nyanko did not take long to announce that the case had been postponed to the first month of the new year.
