Ummi Rahab responded to a woman who used her name to defraud a man of large sums of money.

If you recall, we recently reported on a girl who was apprehended by security operatives at Hotoro in Kano while using Ummi Rahaba's name on Facebook.The girl was able to defraud a guy from abroad who went by the name of her fiance; he sent her a lot of money, but then he heard about her marriage, which prompted a deeper investigation.

This is very common in today's world, especially among celebrities whose names are known all over the world.Many Kannywood celebrities, including Aisha Tsamiya, Fati Washa, Maryambooth Zainab Sambisa, and others, have faced similar challenges.As a result, actress Zainab Sambisa traveled from Jos to Gombe and arrested the imposter.

Ummi Rahab posted a video on her Instagram page to distance herself from such people and shed more light on her relationship with social media.

"I want to use this medium to explain to my fans about a girl who uses my name to defraud people on social media platforms," Ummi rahab said.

Many people use my name on social media platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, TikTok, and Instagram, but I only have over 286K followers on TikTok and Instagram.

Although there are imposters using my name on Instagram, that is my only account; any other social media accounts other than these two are fake.
