Nigerian Government Orders University Presidents To Open Universities, Students To Go Back To Study
The Federal Government through the Universities Control Commission (NUC) has ordered the heads of the universities to open schools as soon as possible for students to return to studies.
This is coming from a letter signed by the director of finance of NUC, Sam Onazi on behalf of the general secretary of the commission, Professor Abubakar Rasheed.
Jairdar Punch said that she received the letter directly from the board, where the presidents of the universities and their administrators were ordered to return to work.
We don't want to say that we are just watching and following orders, but I don't think this will end the conflict between ASUU and the Federal Government.
