Am Not Going To Campaign For Bola Asiwaju Tinubu ~ Says Rahama Sadau
Kannywood and Nollywood actress, Rahama Sadau, has distanced herself from a list of names published by the 'Punch' newspaper, indicating that she is one of the actresses Rahama Sadau and the presidential candidate of the APC party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed. Tinubu, he appointed women who will support him in the campaign.
Rahama Sadau denied the story on social media, in a message she made in English where she said: "This is a fat big lieeeee.... I am not aware of this... I don't know how my name made it to this list. Not in any way associated with this." Meaning: “This is a big lie. I am not aware of this. I don't know how my name got into this list. I have nothing to do with this."
Film magazine reported that the actress Rahama Sadau is not known to be involved in politics, and it seems that she was not contacted before the names were released, which is why she wrote this post in sadness and surprise.
Apart from Rahama Sadau, other Kannywood women in the list include Saratu Gidado (Daso), Kyauta Dillalia, Samira Ahmad, Fati Nijar, Mansurah Isah, Teema Makamashi, Ummi Gombe, Hadiza Kabara, Fati Karishma, Samira Saje, and Hajiyan Nas.
However, former actress Mansurah Isah spoke to Rahama Sadau, saying that it was a mistake for Rahama's name to be included in the list.
According to Mansurah: "ToRahama Sadau, I wish it wasn't your name that you didn't see." Rahama's name is MK but since you are the only Rahama they know in Kannywood, they assume you are. But don't worry, it's not you."
Mansurah, who is involved in Tinubu's political activities, indicated that they were the ones who gave the names that were seen, and they did not give Rahama Sadau's name because they know she is not in politics.
According to her, it was the people of the South who published the names, that is why they made a mistake, because they did not know Rahama MK through the drama of 'Kwana Nine'in'.
Rahama Sadau did not say anything to Mansurah.
As for Rahama MK, she was happy because she even copied the names and published them on her page with thanks.
