Give Us The Power To Punish BBNaija, Bobrisky - NCAC Pleads With Lawmakers
Segun Runsewe, the Director-General of the National Council for the Arts and Culture (NCAA), has asked the House of Representatives to give his House the power to prosecute the organizers of BBNaija Big Brother Nigeria for showing nudity in the television show.
Segun Runsewe, who made the call on Tuesday, October 4, also asked for the authority to pursue aliens such as Bobrisky.
While appearing before the ad-hoc committee investigating the copying of ministries, ministries, and agencies, Segun Runsewe stated that the nudity as shown by the organizer of the ceremony is against Nigerian culture.
The head of the commission stated that the amendment made to the law of the parliament will allow them to go after BBNaija organizers and concessionaires like Bobrisky.
"I was the first person who took BBNaija Big Brother Nigeria to NBC to report because they had... some parts of the world is to be a minority, etc., do not bring it to Nigeria because our culture is precious and they respect the dignity of our country.
This honorable house of parliament Segun Runsewe just needs to strengthen us with the legal system to get rid of this kind of fraud," he said.
