Northern Region To stand Up To Solve The Severe Hunger. This Year Says the King Of Zazzau
His Excellency the King of Zazzau and the chief assistant of the Kaduna Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mining and Agriculture (KADCCIMA), Ambassador Ahmed Nuhu Bamali, has called on the Northern region to stand up to solve the severe hunger.
Speaking at the 3rd KADCCIMA award ceremony held in Kaduna, the Emir said that the region does not need a soothsayer to tell them that the problem of famine is coming and they should wake up because agriculture is the basis of the economy.
According to him Ahmed Nuhu Bamali, "The issue of hunger in the coming year, you don't need a soothsayer to tell you this, but we pray to God Almighty and this is a call that people should use in other ways to follow." in order to find a solution because if you put all your eggs in one basket, you will definitely face bad news.
Ahmed Nuhu Bamali said "We should wake up from our sleep and see what we can do because the core of our economy in my opinion is agriculture, especially in the Northern region. The agricultural sector has suffered a serious setback this year due to two important reasons, one is the flood, and the other is armed robbers who are unfortunate in our region."
He congratulated those who were honored and said that they have made significant contributions to the country's economy in various areas of life, especially in the Northern region.
Also in his speech, Governor Nasir El-Rufai who was represented by the Secretary General of the Ministry of Business Innovation, Dr. Yusuf Saleh, said that in the last seven years the Kaduna state government has done its best to invest in various sectors to develop the economy.
He said that the Ministry of Business Innovation is developing the skills of young people to suit different aspects of life.
The Chairman of Falke Industries, Alhaji Samaila Maigoro, urged the government to identify the existing businesses and encourage them to work harder through tools and training.
The Chairman of KADCCIMA, Alhaji Suleiman Aliyu, said that the council will introduce a plan to give advice to business leaders in the area
