 The president of Somalia, Hassan Sheikh Mohamud, said that at least 100 people died and 300 were seriously injured in a bomb explosion in two cars in the capital, Mogadishu.


 Mohamud blamed the Al-Shabaab group for the attack and told reporters on Sunday that there is a possibility of an increase in the number of deaths from the attack.

"Among our people who were killed there are mothers with their children in their arms, fathers who are sick, students on their way to school, businessmen who are supporting their families," said Mohamud after visiting the place where the incident happened.  .

The authorities stated that the attack on Saturday was intended to attack the Ministry of Education and the school, and the attack took place in the crowded area of ​​Sobe.

 Police spokesman, Sadiq Doodishe, told reporters that women, children and the elderly were mostly killed in the attack.
