NDLEA Arrested 993 Drug Dealers in Katsina
Within two weeks, the National Drug Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) arrested 993 drug traffickers in Katsina state.
The NDLEA said, it arrested drug traffickers between November 10 and November 23, 2022.
The agency said it seized 1.5 million kilograms of drugs in the state in two weeks.
The state NDLEA commander, Mohammed Bashir, told reporters that the good work strategies they adopted helped them achieve this success.
Mohammed Bashir added that 977 of those arrested were men and 16 were women.
The commander went on to say that the drugs they seized included marijuana, cough syrup, and other types of drugs.
