Security Officers Have Been Sent To Rescue More Than 20 Farmers Who Were Kidnapped In Katsina~Said Aminu Bello Masari
Aminu Bello Masari The Katsina State Police said security forces were deployed to rescue more than 20 people who were abducted by bandits from a farm in Katsina state on Sunday. Among the abducted people are many women.
Residents of the area where the incident happened said that the assailants came in large numbers on motorcycles and attacked the harvesters near Mairuwa village in the state.
The spokesperson of the Nigerian Police Force in Katsina State told Focus News Hausa, BBC that 21 people were kidnapped during the attack on Sunday.
However, some reports say that the number of kidnapped people is much higher.
