The Governor of Zamfara State, Bello Matawalle, has challenged the EFCC's warning against the attempt to discredit him

 The governor of Zamfara State, Bello Matawalle, has given the EFCC the right to enter wherever they want to investigate whatever they want to investigate about him and his government, and wherever he has a destiny in the world.

 The governor has challenged the EFCC on a false story published by the Sahara Reporters newspaper that a large amount of money has been hidden in some places to pay salaries to Zamfara government employees through the "Table Payment" system.

 Governor Matawalle through his attorney general Mike Azkhome SAN, wrote a long letter to the chairman of the EFCC, warning them to protect themselves and investigate wherever his destiny is and wherever they think the public money is hidden, so the Governor  warned the EFCC to stop trying to defame him or give a foothold to his political opponents to achieve their political goals by slandering, lying and slandering him and his Government.

 Governor Bello Matawalle, said whenever they start their investigations, he will join them with three of his friends to keep an eye on how the EFCC will do their work to avoid deception and fraud in peace.

 Governor Bello Matawalle said that it is necessary for the EFCC to carry out the investigation or his rights will be denied for trying to discredit him in the eyes of the world as a human being with full rights.  Also, he must defend his government to take the EFCC to court to seek justice.

 The governor said that he was very surprised at the way the EFCC was making statements without verifying the truth of the matter, which would cast doubt on the effectiveness of the EFCC for the community.

 Governor Matawalle said that he is waiting to see all the steps that the EFCC will take on whether they will come forward and explain the truth of the situation or he will rush them to court to seek his rights.
