Reuters reports that dog owners in the city of Lagos, in the south of Nigeria, came out to show their dogs at the fourth animal show held last weekend in the state.
The dogs that were brought there came out looking beautiful after they were given beautiful clothes.
The purpose of the festival is to show that it is not true that Africans abuse their dogs.
Jackie Idimogu, who organized the event, said, "We organized the event to make people understand that dogs are not only our guards, we are always with them".
Karya Pasha, who wore the same clothes as her owner, drank a glass and was the winner of this year's award at the ceremony.
