Jovit Baldivino, who once won "Pilipinas Got Talent," has died at the age of 29

. Jovit Baldivino, a Filipino musician who won the first season of Pilipinas Got Talent in 2010 and was 29 years old, died on Thursday.

His parents, Hilario and Cristeta Baldivino, and his fiancee, Camille Ann Miguel, confirmed the news. They said he died of a brain aneurysm in a hospital in Batangas City.

Doctors had told Baldivino to rest because he had high blood pressure, but he accepted an invitation to sing at a Christmas event in Batangas City on December 4.

He sang three songs, and by the end of the third one, people could see him gasping for air. Soon after, he was taken to the hospital, where a scan revealed a blood clot on his brain, which is a sign of an aneurysm.

His brain was drained of blood, and he was in a coma for five days before he died on Thursday.

After the news came out, his fiance posted a number of messages on Facebook. "I miss you so much already, my love," she said.

Baldivino became famous when, at age 19, he won the first season of Pilipinas Got Talent. Soon after, he put out his first studio album, Faithfully. From 2011 to 2015, he put out three more albums.

In an interview with The National in 2012, he called the way he became famous "crazy." "But for me, I have a lot of family and friends who love me and keep me from making too many changes to my life," he said.

Baldivino's last public appearance was on November 28, when he was on the TV game show Family Feud for a celebrity episode.
