Kannywood’s Gwanja weds heartthrob Maimuna
Ado Gwanja, a well-known actor and singer in Kannywood, married his love, Maimuna Hassan, on Saturday in Kano.
Producers, actors, and people who cared about the event all came to the event.
Ado Gwanja started out as an office boy at Adam Zango's production company. Now, his style of music has made him a well-known name in the Kannywood business.
Ado Gwanja told PREMIUM TIMES that Zango taught him and was his boss in an interview.
"I've been in a few movies by Zango Production, and I'll always be grateful to him for being my boss."
Zango was one of the special guests at the event, and he also sang for the bride and groom.
Ado Gwanja told PREMIUM TIMES that he will keep working even after he gets married but won't take on roles that make him look like a "Cassanova."
"I won't act like that anymore, but I will act my comedy scenes."
He also thanked his fans for always being there for him.
"People have liked my style of music, which makes me happy. Ado Gwanja is everywhere, especially at weddings and parties. I have always thanked Allah for this."
