The Nigerian Air Force says it has rescued seven Chinese nationals who were kidnapped by some bandits in Birnin Gwari area of Kaduna state.
The statement issued by the army said that its troops of the 271st team rescued the people on Saturday.
They were abducted last June when they were working at a mining site in Ajata-Aboki of Shiroro Local Government in Niger State.

They were taken to the military base hospital to check their health in Kaduna
The Chief of the Nigerian Air Force, Oladayo Amao, said, "I am very happy with the efforts of our special forces in Birnin Gwari and other places and I am confident that in the near future we will defeat all the terrorists in the area. ".
