Saudi Arabia has again given Nigeria a place for 95,000 pilgrims in Hajj
The management of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia has given Nigeria a place for 95,000 pilgrims in the coming year of 2023.
This is contained in a statement issued by the National Pilgrim Welfare Commission (NAHCON) on its website today Wednesday.
The agency has already started accepting the fees of the pilgrims who are planning to perform the pilgrimage next year.
In this year's hajj, there was a delay, where many pilgrims did not have the opportunity to go to Saudi Arabia due to the failure to get the flight they had taken.
However, NAHCON later blamed it on itself, saying that the airlines failed to fulfill their promises.
This has made the Pilgrim Welfare Board to return the money they have paid to many people.
It is expected that Nigeria will complete its preparations to avoid a repeat of what happened in last year's hajj.
