Joe Burrow of the Cincinnati Bengals was lauded for being a "genuine quarterback" and compared to Tom Brady.
The Cincinnati Bengals quarterback put together a really solid first-half performance in challenging conditions in Buffalo, earning the moniker "closest thing" to Tom Brady.
After Burrow scored twice, giving touchdowns to Jamarr Chase and Hayden Hurst, the Bengals carried a two-score advantage into the second half. Burrow has been in outstanding form lately, winning nine straight games, but they enter their matchup against Josh Allen and the Bills in upstate New York as the underdogs.
Burrow's performance is all the more astounding when you realize that his three best offensive linemen, Jonah Williams, Alex Cappa, and La'El Collins, are all out due to injury.
Burrow, like Brady, isn't technically a running quarterback because he prefers to stay in the pocket, analyze what he sees, and consistently complete the correct pass.
