Ali Isah Jibrin, better known by his stage name Ali Jita, is a singer and composer from Nigeria.
He is well-known in the Nigerian music scene. Additionally, he is a pioneer and brand representative of Hausa music in Nigeria.
Ali Jita hails from a lowly family. He was born in the Gyadi Gyadi neighborhood of Kumbotso, a local government in Kano state, Nigeria, to a butcher named Alhaji Sallau Jibrin Kibiya and his mother, Hajiya Ummul-Khairi.
He became famous due to his undeniable talent and mastery in the art of writing magnificent Hausa songs. This in turn sparked a chain reaction that resulted in his success. Also widely praised is his music in Nigeria's Kannywood. Popular film soundtracks in Nigeria have songs by Ali Jita.
His associates include Nazifi Asnanic, Fati Niger, Naziru M. Ahmad, and others. In 2018, he also released a single with Kano and a song called Mama, both of which he co-wrote with Umar M Shareef. Love by Ali Jita was ranked as the second-best Hausa song of 2018 by BBC Hausa.
