All About Khai, the Daughter of Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik
Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik want to be the best parents they can be for their daughter, Khai Hadid Malik, through all the good and bad times.
After dating on and off since 2016, Hadid told Jimmy Fallon in April 2020 that she and the ex-One Direction singer were going to have a child. In September 2020, the couple had a natural home birth of their daughter. Later, they told everyone that her name was Khai.
Even though Hadid and Malik broke up in October 2021 after a fight with Hadid's mother, Yolanda, they are still committed to raising Khai together and have gotten good at being parents.
Malik talked about becoming a dad in an interview on HeartRadio's Valentine in the Morning in March 2021. He said, "It's been really easy for me and Gigi to kind of just ease into it." "She made it easier for us in a way. She has great sleep because she loves her milk."

Hadid had an unmedicated home birth
In an interview for the March 2021 issue of Vogue, Hadid said that she had Khai at home to avoid giving birth in a hospital when the pandemic was at its worst. Hadid gave birth in an inflatable bath set up in her bedroom. Malik, her mom Yolanda, her sister Bella, a midwife, and her assistant were all there.
She said that during the experience, she felt like an "animal woman" and had to "dig deep" to get through the pain.
"There was definitely a time when I thought, 'I wonder what it would be like with an epidural and how it would be different,'" Hadid said. "My midwife gave me a look that said, "You're doing it. You can't get any help. You're already past the point where the epidural would help, so you would push the same way in a hospital bed.'"

Khai celebrated her first birthday surrounded by family
