Senator of Western Legas Region in 1993, Governor of Legas State from 1999 to 2007, aspirant to be the President of Nigeria in 2023, traditional prince holding the title of Asiwaju of Lagos State, including the title of Borgu Chief of the Niger State, Bola Ahmed Adekunle Tinubu was born on May 29, 1952 in Lagos State.
Alhaji Bola Tinubu did his primary education at (St. John's Primary School) in Aroloya, Lagos State, and (Children's Home School) in Ibadan State. After that, he returned to the United States in 1975 where he studied at Richard J. Daley College in the Chicago area and at Chicago State University where he studied accounting and graduated in 1979.
Tinubu has worked with companies in the United States such as (Arthur Andersen, Deloitte, Haskins, & Sells, and GTE Services Corporation). He returned to Nigeria in 1983 and joined the oil company (Mobil Oil Nigeria) where he later became the general manager of company.
Since 1992, he has been involved in politics under the SDP party. After struggling and rising in politics, Tinubu succeeded in becoming the governor of Lagos State in 1999 under the AD party. He won the election for the second time in 2003 with his deputy, Femi Pedro where they ended on the 29th of May, 2007 where Babatunde Fashola succeeded him who was the Chief of Staff of the Government House during the Tinubu administration. The state. Tinubu is now the presidential candidate of the APC party in Nigeria in 2023.
