A man who is 86 years old has set a barbell record.
At a powerlifting tournament around the world, an 86-year-old tosho made history.
On March 18, 2023, a guy by the name of Brian Winslow lifted 75 kg of steel during the British Weightlifting Championship.
By successfully lifting a 77 kg barbell for the first time, Brian Winslow from Derbyshire established a record.
Mr. Winslow currently holds the record for the competition in the weight class of 60 kg for men aged 85 to 89 in both the UK and the rest of the world.
Mr. Winslow, who began lifting metal when he was just a small child while working in a restaurant, expressed his happiness at the history he had contributed.
"Making history is a positive thing to do. My life with my children and grandchildren includes lifting. I'll keep lifting till I can no longer." "Winslow said.
