Alhaji Shehu Kaikai, an Elder in Katsina State, is 77 years old
One of the elders of Katsina State who contributed to the development of the state, Alhaji Shehu Kaikai, is 77 years old.
Alhaji Shehu Kaikai who came to the fore for Kusada Local Government, at that time he was a Commissioner in the National Electoral Commission NECON.
Alhaji Shehu was born in Kaikai Village in Kusada Local Government of Katsina State.
He attended the primary school in Kusada town, namely Junior Primary School, Kusada from 1954 to 1958, then Senior Primary School from 1958 to 1960.
He then went to the Zaria Government School which has now moved to Barewa College, in addition to the studies he has done with different Degrees and courses he has attended here in Nigeria and Foreign Countries.
Some of the positions Alhaji Shehu Kaikai has held:
(1) Member of the Committee on the Plan Introduced by General Sani Abacha to Bring Development to the Country (Vision 2010)
(2) Commissioner of the Ministry of Trade and Industry, Katsina State 1990 to 1991
(3) Member of the Board of Trustees of the Institute of Trade and Industry and Natural Resources, including Agriculture
(4) Deputy Chairman of Kano State MAN Companies Association
(5) First President of Katsina Specialist Hospital FMC 2000/2003
(6) Founder of Katsina Capital School and it's First Director 1992/1996
(7) Electoral Commissioner of Abia State 1997/1998
(8) Member of the Committee to Provide Jobs for the Natives of Kano State, in the Government and Private Sectors
(9) Member, Katsina State Water Supply Board
(10) Secretary General of the Deerwa College Alumni Association 2004/2008
These are just a few of the various positions and positions that Elder Alhaji Shehu Kaikai has held.
Currently, he has many wives and children who are outstanding in different aspects of life development.
Among his sons is the former candidate for the seat of the Federal House of Assembly representing Kankia/Ingawa/Kusada local governments, Engineer Abubakar Shehu Kaikai.
