Alhassan Ado Doguwa and Muhammad Bappa Takai were arrested by the police.
The Kano Police Force arrested Alhassan Ado Doguwa and the Takai APC candidate for the House of Representatives, Sumaila Muhammad Bappa Takai, on suspicion of murder.
A source who asked not to be named at the army headquarters in Bomfai said that Alhassan Ado Doguwa was arrested at Malam Aminu Kano Airport when he was about to leave for Umara.
