Davido is the second son born to his father and the youngest of five siblings. Davido bought musical instruments while at Oakwood and started making beats.

On Friday, November 13, 2020, he released his third studio album, A Better Time. On the social media platform Instagram, Davido is the second most followed African as of August 2021.

Davido sold out the 20,000-seat o2 arena on March 5, 2022. The arena was christened “The Davido 2” for one night to commemorate the Nigerian Afrobeats superstar.
