What is DJ Khaled's Net Worth?

DJ Khaled is an American record producer, radio host, rapper, DJ, and record label executive with a net worth of $75 million. DJ Khaled is also the DJ for the hip hop group Terror Squad and a radio personality for the urban music radio station WEDR in Miami. Moreover, DJ Khaled makes tens of millions of dollars from endorsement agreements with businesses like Weight Watchers, T-Mobile, and Apple.

Early Years

Khaled Mohamed Khaled was born on November 26, 1975, in New Orleans, Louisiana, to Palestinian immigrants. He has identified as a devoted Muslim. Alec Ledd (Alaa Khaled), his brother, is an actor. His parents were artists who performed Arabic music. When Khaled was a young child, his parents encouraged his passion in rap and soul music. His employment at a nearby record shop served as the starting point for his musical career.

Career

Khaled originally gained notoriety in the 1990s as a DJ on Miami's hip-hop radio station 99 Jamz. The band Terror Squad chose Khaled as their DJ because of his work at the radio station. Khaled transitioned into album curation after earning some experience with Terror Squad and published his debut studio album, "Listennn... the Album," in 2006. Khaled went on to release "We The Best" in 2007, "We Global" in 2008, "Victory" in 2010, "We the Best Forever" in 2011, "Kiss the Ring" in 2012, "Suffering from Success" in 2013, "I Changed A Lot" in 2015, "Major Key" in 2016, "Grateful" in 2017, and "Father of Asahd" in 2019. The release of his album "Khaled Khaled" is scheduled for 2020.

"All I Do Is Win," which includes Ludacris, Rick Ross, Snoop Dogg, and T-Pain, is one of Khaled's most popular tracks. The song is from Khaled's 2010 album "Victory," which was the album's second single. The song has received three platinum certifications from the RIAA. Due to his outsized personality, certain Snapchat videos of Khaled discussing his "secret to success" in late 2015 and early 2016 attracted a lot of attention. He rose to fame online and was dubbed a "living meme" by others. Khaled is now a highly regarded social media presence and one of hip-most hop's sought-after producers.

He collaborated with Demi Lovato in 2018 as the opening act for her Tell Me You Love Me Tour, which began in San Diego, California, in February and ended in July.

On May 21, 2019, DJ Khaled released a new video for "Wish Wish," which also features Cardi B and 21 Savage. The video, which was directed by Khaled and Eif Rivera, has a lot of explosions, flames, and motocross riders. It resembles a B-level street-racing film that was rushed into production in the early 2000s to capitalize on the success of the original Fast and the Furious.

The New York Times Best Seller list was topped by Khaled's book "The Keys." His thoughts on achievement, personal anecdotes, and descriptions of other musicians' contributions are all included in the book.

He has also worked as an actor, appearing in the films "Pitch Perfect 3," "Spies in Disguise," and "Bad Boys for Life" (all from 2017).

Awards

Both the Ozone Awards and the BET Hip Hop Awards named him DJ of the Year in 2008. For "Hold You Down" and "How Many Times," he received the ASCAP Rhythm and Soul Awards for Best R&B/Hip-Hop Music in 2016. Chris Brown, August Alsina, Future, and Jeremiah may be heard on both songs. He received the Best Rap Song and Best R&B/Hip-Hop Song ASCAP Rhythm and Soul Awards in 2017 for "I Got the Keys" (with Jay-Z and Future) (featuring Drake). Additionally in 2017, he took home the prize for Favorite Rap/Hip-Hop Song for "I'm the One" at the American Music Awards (featuring Justin Bieber, Quavo, Chance the Rapper, and Lil Wayne).

Personal Life

Asahd Tuck Khaled, born on October 23, 2016, is the son of Khaled and Nicole Tuck. After live-streaming the birth on his Snapchat account, Khaled attracted widespread attention. Tuck gave birth to their second son on January 20, 2020.

Neth Worth

Between September 2017 and September 2018, DJ Khaled made an amazing $30 million from touring, producing, and, most significantly, sponsorships. In any given year, endorsement deals with businesses like Ciroc, Apple, and even Weight Watchers account for the vast majority of his income. He is among the highest paid in hip-hop, although his wealth has little to do with the genre or even music in general.
