BRIEF HISTORY OF POET NURA M. INUWA
Let's start by hearing a brief history of you.
Hello, my full name is Nura Musa Inuwa, but now I am better known as Nura M. Inuwa. I was born in Kano, in 1989, and I went to primary school at Masaka Special Primary School, then I went to secondary school in Gwammaja II. It was from here that I did not continue my studies because of some reasons that overwhelmed me, which is when I started my music career.
What inspired you to start singing?
I've been singing since I was little, and at that time I didn't know what I was doing. Sometimes even if something happened to me at home whether I was happy or sad, I would sing about it. In short, I started singing when I was a child. To be honest, I had no idea why I started, but later I realized that I could send a message through music.
In the country of Hausa, unemployed singers are taken, where they are seen as corrupting instead of correcting it, what do you have to say about that?
Hmmm, anyone who sings will not be called unemployed, someone has a job but he just prefers to sing, and the talk is not disciplined and it depends on what the singer has come up with. The people heard it. Therefore, it is good for a singer to say what will benefit the people and not just what he wants, and if one person does something in a song that is not considered good, then they are the listeners. they should not think that they are all singers. No, he is the one who did this, because what someone else is doing, no one else will do it.
You are nicknamed 'Golden Throat' or where did you get the title?
I was surprised when I heard that I was called that. In fact, my fans gave me the name.
How many years have you been in the music industry, and so far have you made songs like mine?
Now I have five years in the music industry, and now I can't say how many songs I have, but I think the songs I have made will reach 100.
Do you have a favorite song from your songs, and why did you choose it?
Honestly, I will not choose Bakandamiya now, because the songs that I am known for are many, and I often hear people say that this song is good, but when they hear another one, they say good. So the one that people like the most is also the one that I like the most before I take out my bag.
Would you tell the readers a few of the songs you have done, be it for movies, commercials, politics, etc.?
Honestly, in all the parts you have listed, no one has not sung, like in the movie there are such as 'Rai Dai', 'Aisha Humaira', 'Badi Ba Rai', 'Facebook Love', 'Sayyada' and 'Zurfin Ciki' and others, but the political ones will not count.
There are many rumors about writing a song for you, what is the truth?
Well, in fact, no song is written for me. I write my own music. Many times I don't even write some of my songs.
People are complaining that you don't make video albums, like your fellow singers, what do you have to say about that?
Alhamdu lillah, people should be patient, I am informing them now that I have finished recording my new album, and it will be released soon.
Do you have a mentor in the music industry, who guided you in the industry?
Indeed, I don't have a master in the music industry, God is the one who gave me his ability, but no one taught me music or I am with him as a master, but I respect Ibrahim Ibrahim because I consider him as my brother and not a master. and if there is advice I will ask the poet, he is the one I think I can ask from him, and I said that his position is more than that of my brother.
A few days ago you were attacked and you were hospitalized. What do you think brought that?
I don't have anything that I think pulls that off. I just accepted fate, and those who did it know the reason why they did it to me, but I know that I have not harmed anyone. I leave everything to God, He will take care of me on the day they forget it.
Explain to the readers how the incident happened?
Someone called me and said that I will sing a wedding song for him. The woman he is going to marry said that she wants me to sing for her. will be included in the song, and I had to run away so that he wouldn't accuse me of being arrogant, so I went to where he told me. Then I didn't know how to go up and down until I felt the acid drop in my body.
What do you want to achieve in the music industry?
Thank you, God, even if I stop singing, I have no other ambitions except what God wants, whatever I am, God has led me. Therefore, He knows the position that will lead me to the future.
What advice do you have for filmmakers and other musicians?
Let's get rid of envy in our souls, how can we have unity the lower will respect the elder and the elder will protect the honor of the lower. This is my advice.
Finally, what is your message to your fans?
I always want my fans to know that I am not like them because I am proud of them. I thank God for giving them to me and I love them
As much as they want me, you are more than that. Therefore, I am asking for forgiveness for the person I offended without knowing it. Son of God, my loved ones, be the ones who always make excuses for me, even if it is said that Nura is a chicken, don't take it, see for yourself and then accept it. Finally, I thank you and hope that God will leave us together.
I caught the boxing song because it is the legacy of our family - Iliyasu Alhaji Buda
Abubakar Haruna, in Lagos
Aminiya's representative in Lagos had a conversation with Boxer singer, Iliyasu Alhaji Buda Kaya; nicknamed 'Waziri' who specializes in singing to boxers in Lgeas. Here's how the interview went:
People will want you to introduce yourself.
My name is Iliyasu, and my father's name is Alhaji Buda kaya. Today I am about 23 years old. I was born in Kaya Village, Gumi Local Government in Zamfara State.
In this business of boxing music, have you crossed the bridge?
I inherited this profession from my father. I started singing boxers when I was 18 years old.
What made you want to get involved in music and boxing?
Because the inheritance is our house and everything you inherit is the best in it. Haven't you heard that the son of the heir is better than the son of the learned?
Is there a mask you use that prevents the boxers from taking their breath away from you?
There is a lack of preparation, but there is respect between us and the boxers so that they do not hesitate to vent their anger on us.
What achievements can you tell that you have had since you started the music business until now?
I have nothing to say but thank God because we have achieved many things when we were with our father, he was given a car, a seat in Makkah, a house, and many other worldly things. You see, these things are many achievements. Although our father used to play boxing and political music, that did not stop him from always singing for boxers.
What made you decide to come to Lagos and play boxing instead of going to the North?
Not for anything but for the love that the Lagos boxers always show me. And you know it is said that the beloved city is not far away. You see, I have been playing boxing music for five years in Lagos since we were performing at the Alaba market until we came back to the Akanimodu area.
What are the problems that bother you since you started singing until now?
Yes, some problems are not lost, but I am more grateful to God Almighty for removing my problems and I am asking Him to continue to give me support and guide me.
Among the boxers, who do you sing for the most, the North or the South and the Germans?
We are for everyone, we sing for every boxer, but some love us more, we also love them by singing for them more than their friends.
