Dylan Starr Williams: Serena Williams' 10-Year-Old Brother Is Seldom Seen

Serena Williams, who has won 23 Grand Slam titles, was preceded on the court by her older sister Venus Williams. Dylan Starr Williams is Serena's younger brother by her father.

Dylan is the least well-liked of his extraordinarily talented siblings since he avoids the spotlight and is seldom ever mentioned. The sports world is well-versed in his family name. Serena, who has won 23 Grand Slam titles, became a big sister for the first time after his birth.

Born in the middle of August 2012, the 10-year-old. Richard Willaims is 37 years older than Dylan's mother Lakeisha Juanita Graham. Dylan was kept out of the spotlight that was on the Williams family by his parents.

Dylan Starr Williams attended Sister's Games since he was a little child.

When Dylan was born, he became his aging father's prime preoccupation, prompting the then 71-year-old to quit his supportive role in his daughters' careers. Dylan was raised by Richard at their Florida home since he was a young child. Serena Williams, Dylan's sister, is among the best tennis players and has won the eighth-most trophies of any female.

Dylan's parents were by his side when he made his first public debut at one of Venus's practice matches at the 2013 Sony Open in Miami. Ocarene, the ex-wife of his father, was also present that day at the arena. The youngster also has a middle name in common with Venus Ebony Starr Williams, the eldest tennis winner in his line of siblings.

Photos that went viral show a one-year-old watching Venus play in his parents' presence. Dylan's life has thus far been a quiet one, giving little indication of what he is doing now. His sister Venus has also had a distinguished career. Between 2000 and 2016, she won five Olympic medals, making her a five-time Olympian.

Venus Williams, Dylan Starr Williams' sister, said she would be responsible for teaching him tennis.

Dylan was raised by tennis aristocrats. His father, Richard, has trained his half-siblings Venus and Serena for many years. Both have competed at the greatest level. Unfortunately, Richard is no longer as keen as he once was to harvest his daughters' world-beating talent in his old age.

The likelihood of Dylan taking up tennis professionally cannot be ruled out because it runs in his family. The more experienced of the two Williams sisters and his older sister, Venus, remarked that she could have continued her father's legacy: This year, Serena declared her retirement from competitive tennis. She spent 27 years competing in the sport. Venus, her older sister, could not ignore her dominance in tennis and said that it was inconceivable for her to retire. Venus believes Serena will stick with her as a doubles partner in future tournaments.

While raising Dylan Starr Williams, his father has dementia now.

Now 80 years old, Dylan's father sadly suffers from dementia, a brain disorder that impairs memory retrieval and the brain's cognitive abilities. He reportedly experienced strokes in the recent past, according to some reports.

In his lifespan, Richard has been married three times. In 1965, he wed Betty Johnson, with whom he has five kids. 1973 saw the end of their union. Richard married Oracene Price in 1980, and they had two daughters together, Serena and Venus, before divorcing her in 2002 on the basis of accusations that he had abused her.

In 2010, Richard wed Lakeisha, who was only a year older than Venus. The couple spent a few years together following the birth of their single child, Dylan, before divorcing in 2017. Lakeisha vouched for the divorce to be nullified as her intimate cohabitation with Richard began in 2019.
