Gunmen killed 9 people in Abuja
Gunmen have attacked and kidnapped nine people at the 'Grow Homes' complex in the Kubwa area outside Abuja.
Reports say that about 20 gunmen attacked the compound on Friday night.
The spokesperson of the Federal City Police, SP Josephine Adeh, confirmed the incident to the BBC, saying that after they received a call from the area, they immediately sent police officers to defeat the bandits.
But she said that before the arrival of the security forces, the bandits ran away with the people they stole into the forest.
She also added that the police are trying to rescue the kidnapped people.
