Amari Bailey may be the son of the year since, for the holidays, the top high school basketball player gave his mother a brand-new Porsche!
The combo guard for Sierra Canyon announced the wonderful present on Monday, stating, "This year I wanted to kick off the holiday season a little different and purchased my mum a car."
"I appreciate everything you've given up to even make this fulfillment of my goal possible. I love you ❤️. I figured I'd grab the whip for you before you did, though."
His mother, Johanna Leia, who you may also know as Drake's former girlfriend, was moved to tears and wrote a touching thank you card to her 17-year-old son.
The vehicle in question appears to be a 2022 Porsche Cayenne, which has a starting MSRP of close to $70,000.
So, how does a teenager pay for that? He probably took advantage of the NCAA's new NIL regulations.
"I was going to refrain from posting anything because I'm a very private person. Yet, what this actually means still astounds me "Leia posted on IG.

So far, the price has been worth it... One of the finest high school basketball players in the 2022 recruiting class is Bailey, a 5-star prospect who committed to the UCLA Bruins in November. Leia said, "My dream is to see you live your dream and to assist you in any way I can.

During this holiday season, Amari is also assisting two single mothers in Chicago, saying, "It feels good to know that I've worked hard enough to give back to my community."
