I Feel Like I'm In Heaven, Says The Young Man Who Married Two Women At The Same Time
A young man named Umar Sani who married two women on the same day in Minna town of Niger State said he felt like he was in paradise.
Sani, who married Safina and Maryam last Friday, told an online newspaper in Minna, Tsalle Daya, that "I feel like I have been given a house in paradise, I am very grateful to God, and happy that I am pregnant will not be satisfied.
"I thank God that I happily married two women at the same time. They are both understandings, and I appreciate that.
"Many people thought that there would be a problem from one of them, but God, in his wisdom, made things right."
Umar said that he got married because he had more than one woman in his house.
"Since I was 10 years old, I saw that my father had four wives and I saw how they were in peace. I have promised myself that I will marry more than one woman if I have the courage, even if I marry three or four in one day."
Although he said his parents were surprised by the decision, they did not stop him from fulfilling his dream.
"My parents were surprised because even my father did not marry two women on the same day. But they did not oppose it. The most important thing for us now is to have peace," he said.
