Nigerian Army Succeeds In Killing Gunman, Ummaru Nagona, Who Was Attacking Sokoto And Zamfara Regions
I am now getting confirmation of the killing of the top gunman, Ummaru Nagona in a clash with the Nigerian army last Wednesday. He was carried by a military vehicle on the spear he was carrying with the boy who supported him on their way to help as a result of the attack by the army on the camp of the bandits in Kagara area, east of Shinkafi.
Ummaru Nagona visited the eastern areas of Sokoto, especially the villages in Isa and Sabon Birni local governments.
I met Ummaru Nagona on a visit to Bello Turji in December 2021. If you saw him you wouldn't say he was a bandit. Evil is not like!
