President Buhari's Chief Adviser on the Media, Mallam Garba Shehu has complained about the slander against outgoing President Muhammadu Buhari.

 He said that love is not shown to leaders when they are in power until they step down.

 He gave an example of the era of Goodluck Jonathan who said that people used to criticize him but now, he has become a person who is praised by many Nigerians.

 Mallam Garba Shehu said the same thing will happen if Buhari hands over power to the next president
