Rita Dominic's romantic history has always piqued the interest of her followers. Although it's clear that the actress, who was born in Imo State, lives a very private and straightforward life, she has faced her share of controversy regarding her sexual preference. A serious relationship between the multiple award-winning actresses and Michelle Dede, a Nollywood actress and television host who was born in Germany, was reportedly going on in 2015. Unverified sources also asserted that Rita was Genevive Nnaji's longtime lesbian partner sometime in 2012. Similarly, Dominic made headlines in 2014 over an alleged liaison with Ella Martins, an actress from the Benin Republic. These rumors were later proven to be untrue, as Rita stated that the rumors began after she appeared in the films Last Wedding and Girls Cot.
