This is why INEC has said that its officials have been forced to announce Alhassan Doguwa as the winner of the Doguwa and Twada House of Assembly elections.

Some information is coming out about what actually happened in the election of a member of the National Assembly representing Doguwa and Tudun Wada Local Governments, which was held on Saturday 25 February 2023, because the Independent National Electoral Commission INEC said official if she of the region revealed the results of the election on the basis of coercion.

Professor Ibrahim Adamu Yakasai, the INEC officer for Doguwa and Tudun Wada, wrote a letter on February 27, 2023, to the Electoral Commissioner of Kano State, Abdu Zango, telling him that he had announced the results of the election.  under coercion, with the threat of losing his life and some of the INEC officials who were with him.
