RuPaul revealed the two are wed during a 2017 interview on "Hollywood Today," making it official on their 23rd wedding anniversary. We were married on his birthday, the anniversary of the day we first met, he said, adding that "I met him on the dance floor at Limelight in 1994 on his birthday." The drag legend recalled his lengthy friendship with LeBar and called him a "wonderful man" who doesn't care about fame. "He spends most of his time on the ranch in Wyoming. He has a 6,000-acre property, but whenever we have the chance, we want to travel to a luxurious place like Maui or New York "he remarked.
