15 mosques have been given permission to perform tahajjud prayers in Diffa

The authorities of Diffa state of the Republic of Niger have given permission to 15 mosques to conduct tahajjud prayers.

In a statement issued by the state authorities, they have given 15 mosques the opportunity to open during the night in order to conduct the Qiyamul prayers, which most of the mosques start during the night.

This is the second time since the state fell under a state of emergency in 2015.

Residents of the state are happy to see that last year 10 mosques were opened, considering how the authorities are trying to ensure peace and security, which is why this year 15 mosques were opened for worship.

However, they called on the authorities to consider the possibility of allowing three-wheeled motorcycles - which are mostly used for transportation in the country - to be used when going to mosques in order to ease their traffic difficulties.
