A Russian warplane mistakenly fired on a city in the country
The Russian Defense Ministry said that one of its warplanes accidentally opened fire, wounding two women and destroying several buildings in the city of Belgorod.
Belgorod is on the border between Russia and Ukraine.
The governor of the state, Vyacheslav Gladkov, said that the explosion of the plane dug a huge hole 20 meters deep in the center of the city.
The statement issued by the Ministry of Defense of Russia shows that its Sukhoi Su-34 fighter jet mistakenly opened fire with some weapons, but the statement did not specify what kind of weapons were fired.
