The house which is the administrative headquarters of Ta Lord Lugard, is located in Ikot Abasi town in Akwa Ibom state and is a few minutes away from the local government secretariat. It is located in the center of what was during the colonial period and overlooks the Atlantic Ocean.
Lord Frederick Lugard, on January 1, 1914, signed a document that merged the two Parties into one.
It was also the commercial headquarters of the government at the time and can be compared to today's Aso Rock.
