Buhari Agrees To Suspend Adamawa Electoral Commissioner, Hudu Ari
President Muhammadu Buhari has accepted the decision of the National Electoral Commission to suspend its Adamawa State Commissioner, Barista Hudu Yunusa Ari, until the investigation is completed.
The Electoral Commission has already entrusted Hudu Ari to the Inspector General of Police to investigate the behavior of the Commissioner during the by-election in Adamawa state.
President Buhari has ordered an investigation and prosecution of Hudu Ari, as long as he is found guilty.
A statement issued by the Director of Publicity of the Secretary to the Federal Government, Willie Bassey, also mentioned that Buhari is ordering the Inspector General of Police, the Director General of the DSS and the Commander-in-Chief of the Civil Defense to also conduct an investigation into the role played by their officers in helping Barista Hudu Yunusa Ari.
He also demanded disciplinary action against anyone found guilty.
