Despite Initial Reluctance, Joe Rogan Reveals Wife Jessica Ditzel Has Approved $14.4 Million Move
Joe Rogan has always been open about how much he loves the state of Texas. Now, he has said that his wife feels the same way about the state as he does. In a recent episode of "The Joe Rogan Experience," the 55-year-old talked about how much his family loves the Lone Star State.
Joe Rogan became well-known for his work as a UFC announcer, Fear Factor host, and stand-up comedian, among other things. His work as a podcaster on JRE got him a multimillion-dollar deal with Spotify, which is a big company in the streaming business. Rogan was a great addition to their brand, and for the past two years he has been their most popular podcaster.
Before moving to Texas in 2020 with his wife Jessica Ditzel and three kids, Rogan had lived in California for almost 20 years. On the most recent episode of JRE, he told his friend, Howie Mandel, about it.
Joe Rogan on moving to Texas
Rogan had fellow stand-up comic Howie Mandel on JRE show #1971. The UFC announcer talked to his guest about how life is in Texas. The BJJ black belt said that Texas was a great place for stand-up comedians. Rogan liked this because he is a stand-up comedian himself.
He said about the move to Texas, "I was the first one out, but Ron White was already there. Before the pandemic, Ron White moved here. He really, really likes it. "I f***ing love it," he said. The best place in the world. I was like 'God damn! Ron White is intelligent. He might be right.'"
