Ganduje has made the plan to hand over power to the country, according to the NNPP party
The incumbent NNPP party in Kano has accused the outgoing state government of sabotaging the transfer of power to the new government.
At a press conference on Friday, the chairman of the governor's transition committee in the NNPP, Dr. Abdullahi Baffa Bichi, alleged that the government of Abdullahi Umar Ganduje is deliberately disrupting the transition plan.
He said that the government has given the NNPP party only three seats in the committee set up to hand over power to the new government.
After the election on the 18th of May, Abba Kabir Yusuf of the NNPP party was announced as the winner of the Kano governorship election, where he defeated the candidate of the ruling APC party under Governor Abdullahi Ganduje.
Dr Baffa Bichi said "the people of Kano state deserve a transition plan that will go smoothly."
He said that they did not accept the plan presented by the government that it will bring 82 percent of the members of the transition committee to the new government.
However, until now, nothing has been heard from the outgoing government, regarding the accusations made by the incumbent party.
