MDD took hundreds of workers out of Sudan.
According to a spokesperson for the UN Secretary General, the UN has evacuated hundreds of its employees and their families from Khartoum and other areas of Sudan.
To enable civilians to evacuate the conflict-affected areas, Antonio Guterres has repeatedly called for a ceasefire.
The Secretary General's spokeswoman also said that Volker Perthes, the head of diplomatic affairs, is still in Sudan and that the UN will continue to engage with its workers there and elsewhere.
