Police Arrested For Giving Musician Extra Protection DAUDA KAHUTU RARARA
The Nigerian Police Force has confirmed that it has arrested some policemen who are protecting the popular singer Dauda Adamu Abdullahi Kahutu Rarara.
In a video that went viral on social media, it was seen that the police who were protecting the singer followed him until he got into the car after which they started shooting in the air.
However, in a message published by the spokesperson of the Nigerian Police, Muyiwa Adejobi, on his Facebook page, he said that the National Police has denounced the "incompetence and unethical behavior of the police". show where they are firing guns to silence the singer from Kano.
“The police have been identified and arrested. They will be taken to the police headquarters for questioning and to take appropriate measures," he added.
He also said that this type of behavior is not for the police and they will not condone it.
However, in a video of an interview with the singer, he denied that the police shot for fun and said that some people intended to start a riot and did the shooting.
"We went to distribute food in Kahutu, and some miscreants came in and wanted to start a riot, that's where we had a problem and our policemen shot in the air," said Rarara.

A few days ago, some young people attacked the singer's house in Kano State where they burnt a part of the house and took some belongings.
However, later the police managed to find some of the youths and recover the items.
