 Regarding the transition plan, we are doing nothing. Said Ganduje

The government of Kano state, located in northern Nigeria, has said that it is prepared to hand over authority to the incoming administration quietly and without creating a scene.

A senior committee and a junior committee have been constituted to help facilitate the transfer of power to Salin Alin, according to a statement from the government signed by the information commissioner, Muhammad Garba.

He refuted the assertion made by the NNPP party, which is vying for power, that the Ganduje administration is undermining the transition strategy.

The commissioner also said that before the changeover, the Ganduje administration's transition committee is producing the final report. He clarified that he must prepare the welcome committee of the next government to accept the report, which he had pledged to provide on schedule.

According to Muhammad Garba, the intention of the handover of power is for the departing administration to pass over all facets of government in cold water. It is not an effort to advance any philosophy or school of thinking.

He added that the incoming administration should concentrate on its strategy for seizing control and watch out for anything that can disrupt the transition of power.

The NNPP complained yesterday that only three seats were allocated to it in the committee formed to transfer power to the incoming government.
