In Sudan, there is now a three-day ceasefire. According to US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, the RSF soldiers agreed to a ceasefire beginning at midnight on Monday.
He claimed that the triumph came about after two days of what he called contentious negotiations among Saudi Arabian, American, and Sudanese military representatives.
There is no assurance that the two parties have concurred, though. Every attempt to break up the fighting failed right away.
