The war in Sudan can be like those in Syria and Libya A. Hamdok

Abdallah Hamdok, the former prime minister of Sudan, issued a warning that the nation's lack of security might be comparable to that of Libya and Syria.

While there are reports of airstrikes on areas in Khartoum under the control of RSF forces, Mr. Hamdok made this statement.

Both sides of the conflict accuse one another of breaking the ceasefire agreement. As a result of the war, thousands of people left their homes.

The war, according to the former prime minister, is foolish and will result in the sacrifice of many lives, but no one will win it.

He stated that the leadership of the country's warring forces and the commander of the RSF troops must be seated at the reconciliation table in order for the war to be ended.

At a conference in Kenya that was put on by a businessman by the name of Mo Ibrahim, Mr. Hamdok delivered this speech.

He claimed that the two most powerful and wealthy generals are competing to succeed Omar al Bashir, the former head of state who reigned for 30 years and is now being sought by the criminal court.
