Three policemen in Kaduna were killed in a car accident.
In a car accident that occurred to them in Kidanda town, Giwa local government, Kaduna state, three policemen perished.
After attending the Hawan Dauche celebration in Zaria city on Sunday, the police officers were traveling to Giwa local government when the accident occurred at about 9 o'clock in the evening.
According to reports, one of the police car's tires blew out near Sako Village, Kidanda, killing the three cops as well.
According to the sources, three further people suffered injuries and were immediately taken to the hospital for medical attention.
Photos of police officers with some of them having major head injuries have been circulated.
The tragedy was confirmed by the State Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Mohammed Jalige, who also expressed prayers for the departed officers and well wishes for the injured.
