288 drug traffickers were detained across Europe, according to Europol.
The arrest of 288 people and the recovery of more than 50 million euros in cash and revenue, according to the international police organization Europol, have stopped a significant drug trafficking market.
According to the European Police Agency, the operation, known as Spector by the security agencies of the United States, the United Kingdom, Brazil, and Europe, also involved nearly a tonne of drugs and 117 weapons.
288 dealers and purchasers who promoted illegal items throughout Europe, the United Kingdom, the United States, and Brazil were detained, according to a statement issued by Europol.
153 persons were found in the United States, followed by 55 in Britain, 52 in Germany, and the Netherlands, where many of those detained were found.
