30 Biafra separatists have joined the police in Enugu state
In Enugu State, 30 Biafra separatists have surrendered themselves in to the police.
They were detained by the police when they traveled to Enugu State to observe Biafra Day.
BZM, the Biafra group, members were those who were detained.
They were reportedly transferred to the state police headquarters after being taken into custody Tuesday morning at about 11 o'clock, according to a source.
When they were about to begin their march, leadership tweeted that they had gathered at Layout Road in Enugu.
The source claims that the Biafa group's members marched while carrying the American, Israeli, and Biafran flags.
They also made an appearance on their march while toting some message boards.
The informant further stated that five Hilux police cars arrived and struck them just as they were ready to begin their march.
Daniel Ndukwe, the state police's spokesman, claimed that he had not been informed of the arrest.
