A cancer-causing chemical has been found in Indomi noodles
The report coming to us from the federal city of Abuja states that the haste of Malaysia and Taiwan to remove all the 'Indomie Special Chicken' from the stores and markets of the two countries has shocked Nigeria and the rest of the world.
The two countries have banned the sale and consumption of Indomie after the discovery of ETHYLENE OXIDE which causes cancer in Indomie.
The Food and Drug Administration in both countries identified the substance after an intensive study conducted by them.
Nigeria has also taken a step forward, as the National Food and Drug Administration (NAFDAC) will begin investigating Indomi products that are being consumed and sold in Nigeria.
NAFDAC confirmed to PREMIUM TIMES this Sunday morning that it will start the investigation to find out and verify the truth of what the countries of Taiwan and Malaysia said they found.
Ingredients That Taiwan And Malaysia Discovered In India:
The Ministry of Health in Taipei, the capital city of Taiwan, said that it found the chemical, 'ethylene oxide', which causes cancer in two types of Indomie, that is Indomie Chicken flavor, in a test of the quality of their food.

In Nigeria, the Director General of NAFDAC, Mojisola Adeyeye, on Sunday morning told PREMIUM TIMES that they will start testing from next Tuesday, that is from May 2.
She said that the testing officers in the agency are already ready, so that once they are done, then the agency will explain to the public what it has found.
